Enjoy the small town feel of Manzanita.  Laneda Avenue is the main street in Manzanita that runs perpendicular between Hwy 101 and the beach.  The length of this street is walkable and is lined with delicious restaurants, delightful shops, beautiful art galleries, and friendly coffee shops.

The Manzanita 4th of July Parade is held every year on Laneda Avenue.
From the top of Laneda Avenue you can look west and see the ocean.  At the bottom of Laneda Avenue are delightful rock seats and benches to sit and look at the ocean or shake the sand out of your shoes.  From this point you can walk directly on to the beach.

The west end of Laneda Avenue connects with Ocean Road which runs parallel to the ocean with plenty of parking and multiple paths to access the beach.

Additional businesses in town are two grocery stores, lumber store, bank, real estate offices, pilates and yoga studios, chiropractor and two public restrooms located at the top and bottom of Laneda Avenue.

Our beautiful beach is a seven mile stretch from the base of Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain to the Nehalem Bay Jetty.

At low tide you can walk to the tide pools at the base of Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain.

A short walk along the beach will take you to Manzanita's main street - Laneda Avenue. There you will find charming shops, excellent restaurants, two grocery stores, bakeries, coffee shops and public restrooms.

A few miles south will take you to the towns of Nehalem and Wheeler. These quaint towns offer more dining options, great antique shops, quilt store and access to the bay and river for fishing, crabbing, and kayaking.‍
