Welcome to “Lobohaus.” This newly built modern home was designed for family gatherings as well as quiet and relaxed getaways.

This house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by green space.

The covered back deck looks out toward Neahkahnie Mountain.It is a wonderful extension of the home to relax, bird watch, view deer and/or elk, or sit in the shade on a warm day. The large windows and natural lighting in the home are spectacular.

Currently available for modified short term and mid term rentals. Rates are based on length of stay, and season. $225 - $369 per night.

This wonderfully designed and furnished home has an open floor plan between the kitchen,
family room, and dining area.

The family room is the perfect gathering spot with large windows that bring in wonderful natural light, a fireplace, and Smart TV.

The dining area contains a large farmhouse table that seats 10-12.

The main floor has a half bath and laundry room.

The primary suite is on the main floor with a king size bed, and smart tv with an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet room, and heated floors.

Upstairs has two rooms. The first is a large room with king size bed and Smart TV.

The second bedroom is the bunk room with two twin over full bunk beds. Also upstairs is a full bathroom with walk in shower, and heated floors.

Kitchen

This modern and functional kitchen has quartzite counters, large sink, duel fuel range, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker.

The kitchen contains dishes, utensils, serving dishes, cookware, baking dishes, hand mixer, toaster and coffee maker. There are three barstools at the kitchen island.

The barbeque is located on the back covered deck.

Children

Children are welcome. Please note that we do not provide a baby-gate, highchair, or porta-crib.

Enjoy a bonfire on the beach using the firewood stacked in the garage.

There are beach chairs in the garage to use at the beach or outside at the house.

The deck is furnished with Adirondack chairs and end tables.

Local Attractions

Our beautiful beach is a seven mile stretch from the base of Neahkahnie Mountain to the Nehalem Bay Jetty. At low tide you can walk to the tide pools at the base of Neahkahnie Mountain.

A short walk along the beach will take you to Manzanita's main street - Laneda
Avenue. There you will find charming shops, excellent restaurants, two grocery stores, bakeries, coffee shops and public restrooms.

A few miles south will take you to the towns of Nehalem and Wheeler.

These quaint towns offer more dining options, great antique shops, quilt store and access to the bay and river for fishing, crabbing, and kayaking.

Nearby Attractions

There are great hiking trails on Neahkahnie Mountain and nearby Oswald State Park. The surfers and beach goers enjoy Short Sands Beach. Visit the many State Park beaches along 101.

Kayaking on Nehalem River and in Nehalem Bay. Ride your bikes on the trails in nearby Nehalem State Park, through town, or on other biking routes.

Nehalem State Park also offers a beautiful beach with sand dunes. There is a local golf course in Manzanita. Whale watching is twice a year late December through early January and late March through early May.

The nearest whale watching spot is at the Neahkahnie Mountain viewpoint on 101.
